At the present time, as the metro cities are expanding rapidly with new apartments, malls, vehicles and so on, there has become a need to construct flyovers or metro rails to ease the problems of the common man who spends almost 2 - 3 hours in the traffic travelling between his home and workplace. As more and more vehicles are coming up on the roads, the more congested it is becoming with traffic jams, air pollution, noise pollution etc. It appears that by building flyovers & metro rails in the cities the problems of the common man can be solved?
Vaastu has a different perspective with respect to constructing flyovers & metro rails. Vaastu is based on subtle and gross energy, it not only takes into account the effects within a building but also give equal importance to the environment, surrounding the buildings. East & North is considered as the most auspicious directions due to various factors, specially due to the presence of the morning sun, the planetary influence, the stars etc. These energies, as they reach different parts of a home or building during different times of the day, support the specific activities performed within those rooms, so that the influence of Natural Law from the sun is always supportive in every aspect of our daily activity.
All building should have sufficient space all over so that the energy flow is not obstructed, and if there are high- rise buildings, then the space between the high rise buildings & the independent buildings should be atleast 60 to 80 feet away. Presently, due to rise in flyovers, metro rails, high rise apartments in the city, the energy flow is severely obstructed to the residents residing in these buildings as well as those business establishments, who work all day to earn for their living, worse calamity can be expected if the flyovers or high rise buildings on the northern or eastern side of the buildings & also the Main entrance. If however the flyover or the apartments or on the western or southern side, the distance is more than feet & the main entrance is not in this direction, then the effect is much less.
